Another opinion is that you should not only wear a weight belt when pushing heavy weight, but to also use a belt when you are feeling fatigued. Injuries can and do occur when you are tired, as you can easily become complacent.
Belts come in a range of styles, from the traditional tapered leather belt to the light weight Neoprene training belt. Both these belts are available in two widths, which are 4 inch and 6 inch.
